A weekly wrap up

This past Sunday Jack and I saw the movie Hidden Figures. It was very well done, the best I have seen in quite a while. Jack said it was one of his favorite movies, civil rights and NASA- two of his favorite subjects.  We highly recommend it.

He started his second online class for this semester.  The verdict at the end of the week is that he really likes the classes. Win!

Alex came over a couple of days this week to boil some of the bones we have collected.  The weather held out for us and she got it done.  Now to add them to the cabinet of curiosities.

While she was here we worked on some gourd containers.  I am making a basket out of mine. Once the inside is finished I will add a leather handle.

The primitive arts even made an appearance in nature journaling this week. You can see that our minds are looking towards our upcoming primitive arts gathering.

Sherlock- Jack is obsessed.  The episodes this season are killing me. Agh! I look forward and dread to find out what happens next.

The Queen of Katwe was our other movie this week. Another one we would all highly recommend. When it was over Jack said that everyone needed to watch it.  Bonus, it has sparked interest in chess once again.

As far as books read,  I am reading Hold On To Your Kids.

Jack is reading Hidden Figures and Spirit Animals.

It was wonderful to be able to work on some projects this week, I also started another stitching project. My cooking bug seems to be making a comeback, thank goodness. The Insta-Pot is a lifesaver.
